The talented artist Anita Inverarity has supplied the Milton Art Gallery with a range of her limited edition prints, making the Milton the first gallery to stock them. Anita Inverarity resides in the north east of Scotland- an area which hosts the highest concentration of standing stones in the world.
She describes her art as “Universal Folk” heavily borrowing from folk art, fairy tales and fables to thread a mystical dance through the old traditions of the northern hemisphere. The highly detailed pen work drawings have been exhibited extensively in the UK and international venues, which celebrate illustrative fine art and pop surreal genres. Anita also enjoys making wildlife and animal art and often uses the moniker “Neetz” to identify her cutest, pop surreal maidens.
