Congratulations to our gallery assistant, Jenny Musker whose latest prestigious award was presented to her by Dame Patricia Routledge DBE at the Royal Society of Miniaturists Annual Exhibition.

‘Love Blossoms’ received ‘The President’s Special Commendation Award’ and was chosen out of 530 other miniatures by the current President Rosalind Pierson.

Jenny is a wildlife artist born in Liverpool and now living and working in Aberdeen.  She works mainly in watercolour but also gouache and pencil to depict wildlife in its natural environment in vibrant and accurate detail.

Trained as a natural history illustrator Jenny has spent the last 19 years in the north east making a name for herself as a wildlife artist with strong exhibitions locally and demand drawing her work into collections across the UK, South Africa, Canada and the USA. She works across a range of sizes from 2ft wide to 2” square miniatures.

She has received many awards for her miniature wildlife watercolours.  Jenny has also received the Rose Bowl from the British Society of Miniaturists, the Anita Emmerich Prize at the RMS.
