Born in Aberdeen in the north east of Scotland, Hazel draws her inspiration from nature and her surroundings. Living on the coast gives plenty opportunity for dramatic seascapes and landscape Hazel works in all media, across a wide range of subject matter from flowers, still life to bold landscapes and seascapes. She has a keen interest in abstract work, drawing on visual ideas to produce, atmospheric abstract pieces. Hazel regularly shows her work publicly and works to commission.
