My designs are inspired and developed from sketches of mechanical machinery components, using strong shapes and textures. I like to combine two or more metals. along with contrasting textures. All my pieces use silver together with niobium,copper,brass and mokume-gane. Each piece of jewellery is hand cut, shaped and soldered making every one unique.

I studied siver smithing in Glasgow for three years,graduating in 1990. I worked for one year as a jewellery designer in Glasgow before moving to Virginia,A.S.A where i worked for renowned jewellery designer, Gabriel Ofiesh. During this time i developed and produced my own range of designs which were exhibited and sold at several galleries in the U.S. I now design and produce handmade jewellery in Aberdeenshire.
