Beverley was born in Manchester in 1958 and obtained a BSc. Hons degree in Geography and Botany from Durham University in 1979 followed by an MA in landscape design from Sheffield University.

Landscape painting began as a hobby and with her passion for hill walking and mountaineering it wasn’t difficult for her to find inspiration for her creations. Her work developed a following and she sold her first paintings in 1982 and eventually gave up her career as a landscape architect to devote herself to being a full time artist. She has had solo exhibitions through out Scotland.

Beverley has been living with her family in Banchory since 1994 and continues to gain inspiration for her watercolours and oils from both the local Deeside and national Scottish landscapes, painted in all seasons.
