Heather grew up in Lancashire and has lived for many years in the north east of Scotland. Black and white photography is her passion, but she also enjoys using colour when interpreting an image. Her concentrations are landscape, environmental portraits and still life.

She has travelled extensively and studied Photography in the Art Programme at the University of Anchorage when she lived in Alaska. She has exhibited in both Anchorage and Aberdeen and has won several awards for her images.
