“Photographs that stand outside time.
Photographs where colour does not distract from the essence. Photographs that are as gritty as Scotland’s rocks. Photographs that are as misty as our own eyes.
Photographs that stand still.”
Born in 1969, I took up photography as a teenager and learned the basics of the traditional black and white darkroom. From 1991 on I was supplying stock pictures to European publishers. Moving to Scotland in 2002, I pursued a distinctive style in which the feel of classical photography is achieved through cutting edge digital techniques. In 2005 I trained as a framer and set up my own workshop. This finally allowed me to control every stage of art-making from image capture to the picture on the wall, and hence to offer handcrafted pieces of the highest quality.
