Stephen Andrew – was born in
1959 and as the son of the Manse was raised on Deeside, where he still lives,
dividing his time between carving, running a small farm and helping to care
for his autistic sister. After
an education at Robert Gordon’s College,
Aberdeen
and a year spent on an
accountant’s course (wrong turn, full reverse!) Stephen started carving 25
years ago and now specialises in wild life art, particularly “open winged”
raptors.
Eric Auld – is an Aberdonian
who throughout his lifetime has celebrated, in paint, the wonderful values
seen in his city and surrounding countryside.
His inspiration stems from the enjoyment of portraying the rocks of
coast or hill, the contrasts of sea, river and loch along with the infinite
variations of North East weather. Eric
is inspired by the architecture, institutions and industry of the city, and
the valleys of Dee and Don have provided many favourite images especially
those notable hills, Lochnagar and Bennachie.

the north east, the demand for his vibrant colourful paintings has grown
steadily, and recent sell out exhibitions in

are an indication of how prominent a
figure he has become in the new generation of Scottish colourists.
