Born in Scotland in 1964, Robert Innes is a plein-air artist working in the UK and France. Painting outside in all weathers, Robert draws inspiration from the landscape and people around him. A passionate believer in the importance of drawing and painting directly from the subject, whether working in oil or watercolour, on a sun-baked hillside in Southern France or a windswept beach in Scotland, Robert Innes has the rare ability to transport you to the spot at which his painting was created.
