Paul Bartlett

Paul graduated from Falmouth College of Art with a degree in Fine Art and went on to achieve an MA in Painting from the Royal Academy School, London, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in History of Art and Design from the University of Central England and subsequently, a PhD in animal behaviour.

His passion for nature and the outdoors is celebrated within his work. His collaged and mixed media paintings of the habits of birds and animals alike, are informed by direct observation and exploration of coast and wilderness.

An elected member of the Society of Wildlife Artists, he has received numerous awards, and acknowledgements within competitions, such as The David Shepherd “Wildlife Artist of the Year” and the “BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year”.

Whilst Paul’s work has featured widely in art publications, and books, he has held major solo exhibitions throughout the UK as well as the US, Poland and France.
