She married and had a family with holidays on the west coast. She has worked as a fulltime professional painter for …years and Her paintings are of local scenes and from the west cast of Scotland. Kanita has developed a recognisable palette of bright colours influenced from her childhood in Thailand where her parents owned a silk factory. Kanita uses these colours to capture the Scottish landscapes in beautiful colours that are always a pleasure to look at. She builds up her work in layers and adds and distracts from the work until she is happy with the composition and flow of the work. EDIT
